The why
We were fortunate to have a dedicated library space within the office, but it seemed that its true potential was not being fully realized. That's when inspiration struck, a light bulb moment. Why not transform this space into our very own internal studio? It was a win/win solution that would allow us to make the most of the existing space and unlock its full potential. By repurposing the library into a studio, we would create a versatile and dynamic environment that would serve our creative needs while maintaining the essence of the office. It was an exciting opportunity that would enhance our capabilities and bring a new level of productivity and innovation to our team.

Design Approach
The how
After conducting thorough research on setup costs, I received approval for my proposed vision. The next step was to ensure we had all the necessary studio equipment to kickstart operations. We began by setting up a photography studio, providing the capability to conduct professional shoots and capture stunning product images. This setup not only fulfilled business requirements but also catered to a range of needs, from onboarding new team members for HR to capturing C-level editorial shots for both print and web purposes. It was a crucial investment that supported our professional endeavors and exceeded expectations.

The studio embarked on a transformative journey, embracing new ways of thinking and challenging the status quo.
We delved into innovative ideas that would elevate our standards and make us a more dynamic force in the industry. With a renewed focus on video, we
envisioned taking our game to a whole new level. Ideas sparked: what if we created our very own Twitch channel? What if we started using green screen
technology? The possibilities were exciting, opening the gates to a world of untapped opportunities.
One thing was certain: this evolution brought
with it numerous advantages that we were eager to harness. We saw the value in cost-effectiveness, the flexibility it afforded us, and the greater
efficiency and turnaround it promised. Most importantly, it enabled us to raise the bar in terms of quality, ensuring that every aspect of our productions
met and exceeded expectations.
From a simple idea in 2018 to a fully realised vision, spearheading this production has been a journey filled with
hard work and tremendous enjoyment. It has not only been professionally rewarding, but also a valuable personal learning experience. From providing creative
direction on set to collaborating with teams for shoot setups, and from managing technical equipment to finalising video and audio production in both pre
and post stages with internal and external partners, every step has been an invaluable opportunity for growth and development.
